Back in the early seventies, there was a popular R&B song called “Where is the Love?” Many are asking that question today, considering the tumultuous world we are living in, and as Jesus said, we are hearing of wars and rumors of wars. Even in the U.S., politicians are constantly fighting with others in their own party.
The question needs to be asked. Where is the love and who or what do you and I love?
With the advance of technology and its usefulness, I had someone tell me recently, “I love my phone!”
What do you love? Who do you love?
In John 13:35, Jesus said that’s how the world will know that you and I know Him, if we have love one to another. We need to love Jesus and show our love for each other. That’s what the world is craving right now, and it’s also what Jesus wants from us. In fact, He said that the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind and all our strength.
Jesus is asking, “Where is the love?”
